Reasons to wait to buy a house
- Corio house value goes DOWN not UP
- we can save more money
- get settled in full time jobs before we make anything permanent
- get bigger loan with 2 incomes -- be able to pay it easier too
- building house option sounds better to me: can choose where we live, how we want the plans, and for about the same price as another good house that we would most definitely have to make changes to
- buy in a place we can afford and where value goes UP

Saving more money is good, I'm aiming to take as big of a dint out of it initially as I can.
That said, I've gone off the idea of the other house. I'd be more happier with the Plantation Rd one, it's within reach if both of us are working and quite affordable too. I can't get that one on my own though. It's bigger and has a nicer layout (and a deck with a spa!) I like it because its made out of bricks.
It would go up in value because of it's proximity to the bypass - gets straight onto the highway. Just can't quite afford it on my own just yet ...but together we can do it!
